Boney M (1975)

El primer disco que contiene el nombre de Boney M. aparece en las tiendas de Alemania en la primavera de 1975. La portada no tiene ninguna foto del grupo que conocemos sino la bandera americana (barras y estrellas) con una chica que baila. "Baby Do You Wanna Bump" se titula la canción.

En la primavera de 1976 se completa el primer álbum de Boney M. : TAKE THE HEAT OFF ME. El primer single es "Daddy Cool" - un disco sensacional con su ritmo disco, un sonido original. Con el enorme éxito del primer álbum de Boney M., Farian siente la presión cuando él, Liz y Marcia vuelven al estudio para grabar el próximo disco.

Unos 20 temas son grabados entre los cuales se eligen los 10 mejores para el álbum. El tema de "Ma Baker" es elegido para el primer single. En abril 1978 se presenta el nuevo single de Boney M. - "Rivers Of Babylon". Aunque tiene un ritmo de baile, no es una típica pieza de disco, sino un viejo himno con letras de la Biblia.

Fue un éxito para The Melodians en 1969. Boney M. va a actuar en la película "Disco Fever", la réplica alemana de "Saturday Night Fever" y "Thank God It's Friday".

Y en septiembre sale el cuarto álbum "Oceans Of Fantasy" con una portada espléndida que se puede desplegar en un gran póster.
